1. Study of the systemic inflammation in early chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
2. Study of the vascular inflammation induced by different risk factors of atherosclerosis: metabolic syndrome, primary and familial hypercholesterolemia and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD)
3. Synthesis of new dual PPARa/? and panPPAR agonists and their pharmacological evaluation in the control of cardiometabolic disorders
